Show BB Code Icons Quick Reply

Hi, is there a way to show the BB code icons for quick reply?
Cause most of the time, when a user replies to a thread, it's in quickreply mode.

So adding bb code buttons would be useful

This would be a very useful feature.
I have had a little play around the the template files and although i have removed the:
HTML is Off
Smilies are On
BB Code is On
[img] Code is On

Just to make it look neater imo. I have no idea how to enable bbcode buttons there.

Should look like this or similar if possible.

/please excuse the crude mockup, im not so good with a paintbrush

This is going into the next release 1.10.

Diff and patch (hack) will be available for 1.9.11.

Excellent Kuba.
Will the hack be made available for 1.9.11 before the release of 1.10 or after.

It is not complete and can suffer some changes.

C'mon, man! 3 Days?? Remember, this is a completely volunteer effort. When he has some time, he'll report back. Then, it will be thoroughly tested and incorporated into 1.10. If the changes are portable a hack will be written for 1.9.11. This stuff takes time.

I think I may be one of the few who think this way but it is a QUICK reply not a full formatted reply. The main difference being that you want to simply type in a QUICK reply and be gone. To me it is logical to not have all the excessive buttons in that section. I would suggest an option for the super admins to enable/disable all these bells and whistles in the quick reply area.

That's in true form to my view and of most for that matter my friend but however, it's one view and the other is a quick reply being inline with all the bells and whistles and with all the options. So logic works in two ways here as you can assess. It serves both views of what one wants it to do.:)
